VSP Graphic Group is proud to be the first and only graphic company in the U.S.A. to have a woman PDAA MASTER Certified installation technician. Meet Samantha O’Connor, the woman behind the vinyl.

Samantha, (or “Sam”), has always been determined and hands-on, even if it means getting them a little dirty, and as a kid, she was intrigued by automotive mechanics and technical training. Working side by side with the boys, she learned the ins-and-outs, eventually graduating from Ohio Technical College with a degree in Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology, and even becoming ICAR certified in welding.

Let’s just say, she knows her vehicles.

Fast forward – Sam now leads the VSP Graphic Group commercial vinyl division, which heads up the implementation and installation of vehicle wraps and graphics, as well as a plethora of other interior and exterior products and applications, including high-end decorative and specialty films. As Installations Manager, she oversees a crew of four talented graphics technicians, as well as assisting our operations team in laying out the weekly schedule and coordination in hundreds of incoming and outgoing projects.

The Professional Decal Application Alliance (PDAA) is the premier community for graphics application professionals, and their MASTER Certified Installers have passed PDAA's Master Proficiency Certification Tests, demonstrating proficiency in all types of vinyl installations including complex curves and vehicle wraps.

Sam’s exemplary to the growing diversity in our industry, and there’s no stopping her in breaking the next glass ceiling. We’re proud to have Sam a part of our VSP family.
